The origins of Recarfix go back to the mid-2000s. Around that time, the legendary team principal of a leading F1 team with silver cars had a problem.
During a race weekend, his meticulously prepared cars were damaged. Not by crashes (that was par for the course), but by the small things. A wheel dipping slightly into the gravel or a car kicking up some dirt was enough to severely damage the paintwork. To the millions of television viewers, everything looked perfect. But up close, the car told a different story.
The problem? Repainting wasn't an option. Too much preparation and long drying times. That's why the team boss asked his Dutch paint supplier for a solution.

The solution turned out to be simple and clever: a patch of pre-sprayed material, in the exact colour of the car. After each session, damage could be quickly and neatly covered with the patch. This process was quick and simple, and the damage was no longer visible.
This product, born in the demanding world of Formula 1, ultimately became Recarfix.
With this patented technology, Recarfix has developed a solution for damaged alloy wheels, a thorn in the side of any car enthusiast after a moment of inattention.
Recarfix now offers this innovative wheel repair to the general public. A fast and affordable alternative to expensive repairs and cumbersome wheel touch-up pens or paint pens. Available in many original factory colours and ready for simple home application.
