Recarfix is a unique solution for damage to your alloy wheels. The Recarfix patch is ultra-thin, self-adhesive, and specially coated in the colour of your alloy wheels.

Because the patch is made in the EU, for which a patent has been applied, Recarfix complies with all health, safety and environmental legislation. It is harmless and complies with both EU REACH regulations and the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive. It can be delivered via normal parcel or postal services.

Recarfix is supplied as an A7 pack, contains 6 rim patches and can be used on wheel sizes from 14 to 20 inches. For larger sizes, a hairdryer will be needed to deform the patch.

In this instance, a bit more work is needed before you can apply the Recarfix patch. We recommend you sand the damage with grit 120. Sand the damage to a nice flat and even finish, degrease thoroughly and then attach the patch. Have a look Here too is our explanation.

2 to 4 years. Longer is possible, depending on how carefully the patch was applied. 

Yes. 48 hours after applying, the patch handles the car wash and cleaning products without issue. One thing to watch: some alloy cleaners have a very high pH, which can shorten the lifespan of both the patch and your original wheel paint. With a pressure washer, keep at least 30 cm distance. 

Yes, we advise a minimum distance of 30 cm from the patch.

The patches are designed to line up next to each other, so you can cover larger damage by combining them. 

This can have the following causes:

• Not degreased properly
• The damage must be sanded for better adhesion.
• The temperature when applying was too low. We recommend heating the rim first with a hairdryer and then applying the patch. Once it has been applied, you can heat the patch on the rim again to help it adhere better.

This is possible, but we advise you to let the Recarfix patch adhere properly for at least 2 hours first. You can speed up this process by applying the patch with a hairdryer for better adhesion. 

No, we advise waiting at least 48 hours before washing your car.
