First, select your car’s make. For every Recarfix patch, we’ve included examples of wheel rims that you can use as a reference. Not sure about the colour? Just send us a message and we’ll help you choose. Our current range covers 70 to 80% of all the wheel colours currently available. We’re working hard to develop our range further so that we’ll soon have every colour in stock.
Recarfix is a unique solution for damage to your alloys. The patch is ultra-thin, self-adhesive and specially sprayed in the colour of your wheels. The patch is made in the EU (patent pending) and complies with all health, safety and environmental legislation, including EU REACH regulations. Recarfix is supplied as an A7 pack containing 6 wheel patches and can be used on wheel sizes from 14 to 20 inches. For larger sizes, use a hair dryer to shape the patch.
The Recarfix patch is easy to apply yourself. For the best result, we recommend checking the explanation on "How it works" first.
Then a little more work is needed before applying the patch. Sand the damage flat and even with 120-grit sandpaper, degrease thoroughly and then apply the patch. Also check out our guide on "How it works".
The patch stays in place for 2 to 4 years. It can even last longer, but that is entirely dependent on how the patch is attached.
Yes. The patch is resistant to car washes and cleaning products from 48 hours after application. Some wheel cleaners have a high pH value, which can shorten the lifespan of the patch (and the paint on your wheel). Keep a distance of at least 30 cm when using a pressure washer.
Yes. We do recommend a minimum distance of 30 cm from the patch.
The Recarfix patch is designed in such a way that you can join the patches together seamlessly.
This can have the following causes:
- Not properly degreased.
- The damage must be sanded down for better adhesion.
- The application temperature was too low. First, warm up the rim with a hairdryer and then apply the patch. Afterwards, briefly warm up the patch again so that it adheres better.
That is possible, but we advise letting the patch bond properly for at least 2 hours first. You can speed this up by warming the patch with a hair dryer while applying it.
No, we advise waiting at least 48 hours before washing your car.
Yes, all prices listed on the website include VAT.
The statutory warranty applies to all items you buy from us. This means that a product is or must do what you may reasonably expect of it.
