Our current range covers 70 to 80% of all wheel colors available today. We are continuously developing to ensure that we have all colors in our assortment.
For each Recarfix patch by car brand, we provide examples of wheels that you can use as a reference. Not sure about your color? Send us a message & photo of the rim, and we’ll help you find the right one.
Recarfix is a unique solution for damage to your wheels. The Recarfix patch is an ultra-thin adhesive film, specially sprayed in the color of your wheels. Made in the EU and patent-pending, Recarfix complies with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. It is non-hazardous and meets both EU REACH regulations and the End-of-Life Vehicle Directive. It is deliverd by regular postal services. Recarfix comes in one A7 package, contains 6 wheel patches, and can be used on wheel sizes from 14 to 20 inches. (For larger sizes, a hairdryer may be needed to stretch the patch).
The Recarfix patch is easy to apply yourself. For the best results, we recommend checking out the instructions here.
In this case, a bit more preparation is needed before applying the Recarfix patch. We recommend sanding the damaged area with 120 grit sandpaper. Sand the damage evenly and smoothly, thoroughly degrease the area, and then apply the patch. Be sure to check our instructions here as well.
The patch lasts for 2 to 4 years. It can even last longer, but it depends entirely on how well the patch was applied. And your driving skills! 😉
Yes! The Recarfix patch can withstand car washes and cleaning agents. But please wait 48 hours after applying. Please note, some wheel cleaners have a high pH level, which can shorten the lifespan of the patch as well as the paint on your rims. When using a pressure washer, we recommend keeping a distance of at least 30 cm.
Yes! However, we recommend maintaining a minimum distance of 30 cm from the patch.
The Recarfix patch is designed so that you can connect the patches.
This can be due to the following reasons:
- Insufficient degreasing
- The damaged area needs to be sanded for better adhesion
- The temperature is too low. We recommend warming the rim and patch first with a hairdryer before applying. Once applied, you can also warm the patch on the rim again to help it adhere better.
You can, but we advise allowing the Recarfix patch to properly adhere for at least 2 hours. You can speed up this process by applying the patch with a hairdryer for better adhesion.
No, we recommend waiting at least 48 hours before washing your car.
